Mix together in a bowl or a large Ziploc bag a marinade consisting of the following ingredients...
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Sriracha or your favorite hot sauce
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
Add your 1.5lb flank steak to the marinade and let it rest for at least an hour or up to 24 hours in the fridge for best results.
Note: This same marinade works well with a Skirt Steak as well
When ready to grill, remove from fridge and let it come to room temperature. Grill for 3-5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
Cut into thin strips across the grain and serve. It goes great with a side of mashed potatoes and some vegetables.
