Classic American Scrambled Eggs

In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat add...
- 1/2 cup butter
In a large bowl, mix together until well combined...
- 12 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper (optional)
Add egg mixture to skillet and stir constantly while cooking.
As eggs start to fully set, pull the pan off the heat so they don't overcook and return to heat intermittently.
When eggs have no runny liquid, but still glistening, remove them from heat entirely.
Note: If liquid starts to separate from the eggs after sitting for a while, just give them a good mix with fork to reincorporate everything together.
Transfer eggs to a serving dish. Serve with buttered toast or your choice of sides and enjoy!
