Drain the liquid from...
- 1 can (14.75 oz) of salmon (any variety)
Flake the salmon in a bowl and combine with
- 1 egg
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp grated lemon or lime zest
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Mix together well and form into 4-5 patties.
Pan fry in a small amount of oil until browned on all sides.
Serve plain with a side of tartar sauce, or on a hamburger bun with your favorite condiments.

- 1 tbsp chopped gherkins or dill pickles
- 1/8 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup diced shallot or sweet onion
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- hot sauce (optional)
- salt to taste
Put mix into a small serving dish and enjoy!
