Arrange on a cutting board so the grain runs horizontally...
- 1 1/2 lbs beef flank steak
Cut across the grain of the steak into slices about 1/4 of an inch thick and 1 1/2 to 2 inches long.
Place beef slices into a gallon sized ziploc bag or bowl. Then add...
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger root, minced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sherry
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
Massage all the ingredients and the meat together until everything is nicely coated.
Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight for best results.
When ready to grill, remove beef from marinade and thread on to skewers
Grill skewers about 3 minutes per side.
Plate the skewers and enjoy!
