This recipe builds off of others...

Prepare a Mississippi Pot Roast, then shred the roast and mix with the au jus.

Pre-heat oven to 350º F.

Cut in half lengthwise and then arrange bottom half into a 9x13 casserole dish...

  • 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls

Then assemble your sliders with...

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/8 cup dijon mustard
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • generous serving of Mississippi roast beef
  • 6 more slices provolone cheese

Place top of dinner rolls on and then top with...

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • sprinkling of dried diced onion

Cover with foil and bake for 15 minute. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese has fully melted.

Cut each slider out and serve. Pair with a bowl of the leftover Au Jus from the roast. Enjoy!

Everyone loves a good Mississippi Pot Roast, and if you can manage to not eat all of it as soon as it's ready, this a great use for leftovers, or even as the star dish. Combined with stringy provolone cheese, these sliders are a great crowd pleaser.
