Coat the bottom of a large pot with olive oil and cook until browned...

  • 2 lb ground beef

Add to the pot...

  • 2 large onions, minced
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup cumin
  • 4 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne (or more to taste)
  • 1 tbsp salt

Stir fry until the garlic and onions have softened (about 1-3 minutes), then add to the pot...

  • 2 cans (28 oz each) fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth

Bring to a simmer and cover. Cook for 12-15 minutes then add...

  • 1 can pinto beans (15.5 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 1 can kidney beans (15.5 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans (15.5 oz), drained and rinsed

Cover the pot and continue to simmer for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
