In a Whirly Pop or a heavy-bottomed 6 quart pot (with a lid) add...
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp Flavacol popcorn salt
Note: 1/2 tsp of Flavacol salt may not seem like enough, but it definitely is. Add any more and it will be too salty.
Over medium-high heat stir or shake the popcorn, oil, and salt until all or most of the popcorn has popped. When you hear popping stop for a few seconds, remove from heat.
Transfer popcorn to an extra-large mixing bowl, then drizzle on top...
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Stir or shake the butter through the popcorn and then serve and enjoy!
