Prep Steps
- 1/2 cup butter {do:melt}
Build the Sliders
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Slice in half horizontally as one slab, keeping the rolls connected...
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
Set the bottom slab in a greased 9x13" baking dish, then layer on in this order...
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 3/4 lb thinly sliced deli ham, loosely folded
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
Cap with the top slab of rolls.
Poppy Seed Glaze
Whisk together until smooth...
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Pour the glaze evenly over the tops. Use a spoon or brush to work it down into the seams between the rolls.
Note: To make these ahead, cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. The glaze soaks in overnight. Add about 5 minutes to the covered bake.
Bake & Serve
Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake 8-10 minutes more, until the tops are deep golden and the cheese is melting down the sides.
Cut along the seams and serve warm.
