Place into a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat...

  • 1 cup crema Mexicana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2oz (half a 4oz can) mild diced green chiles
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded queso quesadilla cheese

Slowly heat until the cheese has fully melted, stirring frequently.

Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

This is a restaurant quality queso dip! It was so very good. With just the right amount of heat to tast, its a dip that everyone can enjoy. And it hold up very well at room temperature. Never use American Cheese or Velveeta for Queso again!
