Mozzarella Sticks

- 1 (16oz) package mozzarella cheese sticks
Prepare your breading station with three stationed bowls, each whisked or mixed together thoroughly.
Flouring station:
- 1 cup flour
Egg wash station:
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp water
Breading station:
- 1 1/2 cup seasoned italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Coat the cheese sticks thoroughly with flour, egg wash, breading, followed again by the egg wash and then the breading. Double breading the sticks will help to ensure they don't leak during cooking.
Arrange breaded cheese sticks on a baking sheet and then transfer to the freezer for 1-2 hours.

- 3-4 cups frying oil
Heat to 350º F or until a chopstick inserted into the oil starts to bubble.
Fry cheese sticks until golden brown all around, about 1 minute. Timing is key, at the first sign of a cheese leak, pull them out of the frying oil.
