Pre-heat oven to 400ºF
Grease a nine inch pie plate and sprinkle evenly into it...
- 12 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/3 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
In a separate bowl whisk together...
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Pour the whisked mixture into the pie plate.
Bake in pre-heated oven for 35-40 minutes. Enjoy!

A classic recipe many have made before with Bisquick. This version shows you a way to make the bisquick yourself. The pie turned out delicious. I was worried there would be too much bacon, but it's got a nice balance. Delicious!
